Portuguese exports of goods increased again during the month of October, this time by 9.4% in homologous terms, the most pronounced growth this year and the higher volume of monthly sales abroad, in absolute values. The value of exports sales in Portugal this month was over 4.6 billion euros, announced the National Statistics Institute of this country.
Exports to the EU increased 5.5% to 3.123 million euros, while exports outside the EU registered a growth of 18.3% homologous. The INE also explained that “vehicles and other transport equipment, mineral fuels and agricultural products” were what drove these sales.
