World Bank’s “Doing Business 2015” report reveals that Portugal occupy 25º position, worldwide, as the best country to do business. After analyses this document, the Agency for the Investment and External Commerce of Portugal  –AICEP– indicates in a defunded news that Portugal is “the 11º most competitive country in UE-28 level”, emerging “classified best than countries like Holland, France, Spain, Italy and Poland, direct competitor at attracting investors.

On May 2014, Competitiveness Ranking, published by the Institute for Management Development, shows Portugal has improved 3 positions to the 43º. On September, World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report noted another jump, this time of 15 positions to the 36º. About this, AICEP affirmed: “the country returns to see internationally recognized its efforts of structural transformation of the national economy in the past few years”.
