The Portuguese National Institute of Statistics recently released a new survey that reveals that Portuguese companies exporting goods expect a 1.2% increase in sales in 2014, compared to the previous year. In regards to Extra-EU Trade, expectations point to a growth of 1.0%, and to Intra-EU Trade 1.3%.
“Excluding fuels and lubricants, expectations revealed by the companies indicate a nominal increase of 4.3% in International Trade, 7.3% in the Extra-EU Trade and 3.3% in Intra-EU Trade”, reported the Portuguese institute. The survey was carried on over 3000 companies, representing 92% of good exports in 2013.
