According to AICEP, Portugal doubled in four years the value of its exports to Latin America, reaching 1.514 million euros in 2012, representing 3.34% of total sales. Thus, Paulo Portas, Portuguese Vice Prime Minister said that “part of the future of internationalization of European companies is in Latin America.”
