The Portuguese National Institute of Statistics recently released that Portuguese exports of goods increased by 1.5% during the third quarter of 2014, compared to the homologous period, representing an increase of 2.6% in the first period from June to August this year.

In one study, also conducted by the INE between May and June 2014, shows that the surveyed Portuguese companies (over 3000) have an overview of export growth in value for the year of 1.2%, compared to 2013. This month, the INE will make a new edition of these estimates for 2015.

Among other information published by INE is homologous growth, in volume, of 1.0% Portugal’s GDP, during third quarter of 2014. About the economic climate index of October, this “established by second consecutive month in the most elevated value since July 2008”.
